BFA & CPR-C with AED

This 1-day Basic First Aid with CPR-C & AED course is for people who want a general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills include victim assessment, CPR, choking procedures, AED use, and how to respond to someone experiencing external bleeding, burns, medical emergencies, heart attack, stroke, and other common emergencies. Includes CPR-C certification and AED training.

As part of the 2026 WSIB First Aid Program changes, Emergency First Aid (EFA) is transitioning to Basic First Aid. The updated WSIB first aid program launches on June 22, 2026.

Lifesaving Society Identity Verification Policy

The Lifesaving Society requires identity verification for all vocational first aid courses, including Intermediate First Aid, Basic First Aid, CPR-HCP, Airway Management, and recertification courses.

All participants must show accepted identification at the start of the course. Original, photocopied, or digital versions are accepted. Identification is checked privately and is never stored.
