CPR-HCP (BLS) (Adult, Child & Infant, AR, AED, BVM) covers all aspects of CPR including rescue breathing and the use of AEDs and BVMs. This Health Care Provider (HCP) level is designed specifically for those who as part of their job have a duty to respond to medical emergencies (e.g. doctors, nurses, paramedics, and allied health care professionals)

Lifesaving Society Identity Verification Policy

The Lifesaving Society now requires identity verification for all vocational courses, including SFA, EFA, HCP, Airway, and recertifications. All participants must show accepted government-issued photo ID at the start of the course. Original, photocopied, or digital versions are allowed. ID is checked privately and never stored.

Participants without photo ID, including younger students, may bring documents showing legal name and date of birth, such as:• Birth Certificate• Health Card without photo• Citizenship Certificate• Permanent Resident documentation• Other government-issued documents with name and date of birth
