We offer qualitative mask fit testing using both sweet and bitter solution methods to ensure accurate results for all clients. Located at 1490 Richmond Street in London, Ontario, we’re just minutes from Western University and University Hospital.

Our testing follows CSA Z94.4 standards and is valid for 2 years. It’s ideal for:

  • Nursing, Dental Hygiene, PSW, and other health sciences students

  • Healthcare professionals

  • Construction and industrial workers

  • Anyone starting a placement or new job that requires N95 respirator certification

What You Need to Know Before Your Appointment
Why Mask Fit Testing Matters

 

Under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act and CSA Standard Z94.4, workers who use respirators (like N95s) must be fit tested every 2 years, or sooner if:

The model, size, or style of respirator changes

You have significant changes to your face (weight change, dental work, surgery, facial hair, etc.)

Fit testing ensures your mask provides the proper seal and protection.

IMPORTANT: Before You Arrive

Please make sure you are prepared for your fit test:

✅ No eating, drinking, smoking, vaping, or chewing gum for at least 15 minutes before your test (these can affect your sense of taste).

✅ Be clean-shaven where the mask seals – facial hair (beards, stubble, moustaches along the seal line) will cause the mask to fail.

✅ Bring Government photo ID.

✅ Know your employer’s required mask model(s) if applicable (ex: 3M 1870+, 3M 1860S).

✅ Wear comfortable clothing that does not interfere with the mask or hood.

Your deposit is non-refundable once paid. 

If more than 15mins late, you must rebook your test.
