Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C & AED
Formerly Standard First Aid & CPR-C with AED

This 2-day course provides comprehensive first aid and CPR training for anyone who needs certification for work, school, placement, or personal emergency preparedness.

This course is delivered through the Lifesaving Society and is recognized for Ontario workplace first aid requirements. As part of the 2026 WSIB First Aid Program changes, Standard First Aid is transitioning to Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C & AED. The updated WSIB first aid program launches on June 22, 2026.

Because this is a new program, all participants registering for this course will take the full 2-day Intermediate First Aid course.

This course includes CPR-C and AED training and covers all content from Basic First Aid, plus more in-depth first aid topics such as legal implications of first aid, scene assessment, victim assessment, CPR-C, AED use, choking, bleeding, wounds, burns, medical emergencies, bone and joint injuries, head, neck and spinal injuries, chest injuries, and heat or cold emergencies.

There are no prerequisites for this course. However, we recommend participants be 12 years of age or older to help ensure they can fully participate and be successful.

This course runs over 2 days. The course starts on the date listed below, and the second day takes place the next day at the same start time.
